Newest: The newest production of the "Jim" Troup and their nominology

Forward: This is a work in progress. Allow me to explain the current state of affairs. “Jim” is now an experiment in authorial methodology. To achieve this, I write my stories as a narrative “performed” by a “cast” of personalities and “characters” that I have given a single name to represent. I could, theoretically find-replace the names and they would represent 100% the same “actor” I am writing. I, as the Author of their stories, curate their personality lifecycle over the course of their narrative career, which means that they will not only have arcs contained in their individual story, but curated casting choices representing turns and modalities of expression they grow into, and more likely, out of.
SO, I am now establishing the 3 stories in the current “nominology,” that is, the chronology of a character named Jim. The first is “Cored,” where I introduce the concept of the Core, a mecha-robo suit for combat superiority. I also introduced the idea of “swarm” robots, in the form of the Augmentation interface.
The next book in the series takes place in the far-flung future. Called “Realm,” It is extends the capabilities of the devices implied by Augmentation to their logical conclusions, introducing the a new “species of fabricators,” Fabricans. We are humans, they are fabricans. The titular “Realm” represents something like a shared dream, a super-detailed VR simulation of the real world, used as a tool to pacify and domesticate humans into willing livestock. They did so not through conflict, but through benevolent transcendence alone. They took over for our management and well-being, much like an owner adopts a dog, and lets us just BE Humans. And, much like a dog needs walks, humans need creative outlets, and the Realm becomes a catch-all receptacle for human creativity. I introduced many new writing tropes and techniques, including many long-form lectures and poetic interludes representing a marked shift in my skills and artistic desires.
I still have a lot of meat on that bone left to tackle, but much like the Red Wedding in GRR Martin’s books, it requires me writing a particularly gnarly scene that I am not exactly ready to write, and more accurately, write the ramifications of, so I decided to start another chronology set in a timeline that is both farther in the distant future, even from Realm, but also, chronologically closer to the original Cored book that started the entire nominology. This is an attempt at that. I decided I wanted to write something that was distinctly adult, so it does include some vulgar and controversial topic matter, and an exploration of narrative sexuality that I wanted to challenge myself to write. I don’t know how I feel about it, but I felt like I wrote it in a way that was vital and necessary and justified, so I just gotta trust that it’s not misunderstood.
It is a metaphysical, story-jumping joyride where I attempt to toe the line between ridiculous, humorous, disgusting, moving, and dramatic, it’s also filled with long-winded diatribes and references to red doors needing to be painted black. And, the loftiest, weirdest sci-fi things I could think of that just BARELY strain credulity, but could still be in the realm of “Um, Actually…”
With those explanations and cautions aside, here is what I have done so far of Jim’s 3rd outing, “Swarm.” As its name suggests, it drills down on the Swarm, and the historic world that lead to the planet-hopping creatures of Soul in “Realm.” In so doing, it ALSO explores (SPOILERS:) Jim’s inevitable transition from a living human to a creature of consciousness (See previous: painful thing I don’t want to write) attempting to navigate the inner workings of Mind.
